I decided to publish (to blogger) my failures also. On a scale of one to ten this is a 10-1/2.
Been reading a lot about inktense pencils in EDM so I decided to try them and dug out an old set I had.
At first I wanted to do an acrylic background in a light watercolor effect. Ha! This is way too dark. Then I had to paint an underground in acrylic white because the intense were not opaque enough to cover this "light" background. The intense went on fairly good but then when I added water. Ugh! It puddeled and blotched all over the place. I let them dry well and then added another layer...water..ugh again.
Inktenses do not work well over an acrylic background, or, at least, I don't know how to use them properly on this background.
I also decided that the next time I do a study like this I will also include how much time it took me for each study.
